Inaugurated in 1963 and expanded in the 1970s, Hotel Cala di Volpe underwent a major renovation in 2018, designed by leading architectural practices. The aim of the project was to preserve the authentic spirit of the “original” Cala di Volpe while, at the same time, looking towards the future.

The main interventions included the creation of ten suites designed to recreate the harmony with nature and the tranquillity that characterise the Hotel, the development of the Shiseido Wellness Spa, designed in a minimalist yet warm style, and the opening of a Japanese restaurant within the Hotel.
