Polytechnic of Milan, Project by Renzo Piano

The new university campus stems from a concept by Architect Renzo Piano, who proposed a redevelopment of the Campus on Via Bonardi, transforming it into an open, international and innovative environment.

The project is based on three key principles: green spaces, the relationship with the historic buildings, and accessible terraces.

Four new buildings are also planned, accommodating an architectural modelling laboratory, spaces dedicated to digital technologies and design, teaching facilities and additional study areas.
